SEATTLE – Today, Visit Seattle announced the expansion of There’s Never Been More to SEA, a marketing campaign encouraging regional residents to reconnect with Seattle and its neighborhoods through offers on dining, shopping, and exploration of the city’s attractions. Running through Feb. 28, the campaign highlights local businesses and cultural experiences within five miles of downtown Seattle.
“We‘re inviting our neighbors to reconnect with Seattle,” said Stephanie Byington, chief marketing officer for Visit Seattle. “While Visit Seattle is known for attracting travelers from around the world, it’s also important for us to engage and provide value to the people who call the greater Seattle area home. This campaign is an opportunity to remind our local community of all the things in their backyard that make Seattle such a compelling place to explore.“
Locals can access exclusive offers through the More to SEA Perks Pass, a growing collection of special deals that currently includes over 70 Seattle attractions, restaurants, retailers, and other participating businesses. The pass also features hotel offers aimed at making Seattle staycations budget–friendly, such as a 15% off a stay at Hotel Max with complimentary valet parking.
“At Hotel Max, we believe the best experiences are meant to be shared with our community,” said Steven Dobbs, general manager at Hotel Max. “We’re excited to welcome local and regional residents to rediscover the energy of downtown Seattle, explore its vibrant businesses, and enjoy exclusive perks along the way. It’s our way of celebrating the city we love while encouraging locals to experience it in a whole new way.”
There’s Never Been More to SEA also spotlights Seattle’s rich arts and culture scene through discounts at participating theaters and cultural institutions. Accessible through the Perks Pass, The 5th Avenue Theatre Company will offer 15% off tickets to performances from Nov. 27 to Dec. 13, and 10% off tickets to performances between Dec. 16–27, excluding Dec. 23 and 24. During this period, audiences can enjoy the theater’s production of “The Wizard of Oz.” Chef Brady Ishiwata Williams, known for his acclaimed restaurant Tomo, recently opened two new food and beverage concepts at The 5th Avenue Theatre.
“Seattle’s vibrant arts scene is part of what makes Seattle such a special place to live and visit,” said Bill Berry, executive and artistic director of The 5th Avenue Theatre Company. “We’re excited to welcome audiences to The 5th this season and give more people the opportunity to experience the magic of live musical theatre through Visit Seattle’s Perks Pass.”
Through Perks Pass, visitors can access exclusive offers to beloved restaurants like Shiro’s Sushi in Belltown, which offers 10% off dining outside of happy hour.
“In 30 years of Shiro’s Sushi, we have experienced the importance of a vibrant city,” said Tsuyoshi “TT” Inoue, corporate manager of Shiro’s Sushi. “This new program highlights a vital downtown community with businesses that make Seattle so special, unique, and worth enjoying. We are honored to be part of welcoming locals to our doorstep for legacy sushi in a memorable, impactful, and delicious way.”
Launched in November 2025, the first phase of There’s Never Been More to SEA encouraged locals to rediscover Seattle during the shoulder season, spotlighting the city’s attractions, restaurants, and arts and cultural experiences.
Building off that momentum, the fall 2026/winter 2027 campaign introduces new offers across an expanded five-mile radius of downtown Seattle, while also extending its reach beyond King County to audiences within 150 miles of the city. There’s Never Been More to SEA advertisements are displayed on Sound Transit buses, TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and print and digital publications, highlighting a variety of local businesses and experiences such as Bite Society, Lowlander Brewing, and Seattle Jazz Fellowship.
