Resorts offer vacationers and stay-cationers a wide variety of options for keeping busy, often all located on the resort property.

While resorts are often the most expensive accommodation option, they can often help you avoid needing to rent a car. They’re popular with families, as most offer babysitting services–plus activities including crafts, swimming-pool games, sports, and other activities that keep kids busy—giving parents some blissful kid-free time.  Some resorts are adults-only; some are all-inclusive, with meals, alcoholic beverages, and activity fees included in the overall price.
