Dick’s Drive-In Celebrates 70 Years

2. Order: Dick’s Special, fries, and a vanilla shake; Eat at: right there in the parking lot because it’s usually midnight and we’ve just left a show at one of the Ballard clubs (Tractor Tavern, Sunset, Conor Byrne, etc) or north end venues (Neptune, Nectar, Seamonster, High Dive, etc) and this is our post-concert ritual. It’s a Seattle rite of passage!

4. Order: Dick’s Deluxe and fries; Eat at: Fritz Hedges Waterway Park.

Location: Queen Anne (500 Queen Anne Ave N)

5. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, fries, and a chocolate shake; Eat at: Seattle Center.

6. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, fries, ketchup, and root beer; Eat at: Parsons Gardens.

7. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, fries, and a chocolate shake; Eat at: Kerry Park.

8. Order: 2 cheeseburgers, fries, and a strawberry shake; Eat at: Seattle Center, sitting by the International Fountain.

Location: Broadway (115 Broadway E)

9. Order: Fries; Eat at: Cal Anderson Park.

10. Order: Vanilla shake with fries; Eat at: wandering around Capitol Hill.

11. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, a cheeseburger, and a vanilla shake; Eat at: the reservoir in Volunteer Park in the winter and the dahlia garden in the summer!

12. Order: 2 Dick’s Deluxe burgers, fries, and a vanilla shake; Eat at: a park bench in Cal Anderson Park when it’s sunny.

13. Order: Cheeseburger and vanilla shake; Eat at: Volunteer Park, in front of the sculpture Black Sun by Isamu Noguchi. Especially at sunset!

14. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, fries, and a coke; Eat at: Sandel Park.

15. Order: Dick’s Deluxe, fries, and a chocolate shake; Eat at: Carkeek Park.

16. Order: Strawberry shake and fries; Eat at: stand outside and enjoy on the spot.

Location: Lake City (12325 30th Ave NE)

17. Order: Cheeseburger, fries, and a cold coke; Eat at: enjoy on the spot at the location.

Location: Crossroads (15600 NE 8th St. Suite O-1)

18. Order: Dick’s Deluxe; Eat at: Crossroads Park after hitting the skate park or playing in the spray park with our kids!

19. Order: two chocolate milkshakes and fries; Eat at: Kelsey Creek Park, checking out the family farm or playground with my daughter.
