The program is perfect for a discounted getaway or staycation, all February long
SEATTLE – Seattle Museum Month returns February 1–29, 2026, with unbeatable deals for visitors and locals alike to explore the city’s cultural offerings. Guests who book a night at one of more than 70 participating downtown hotels in February will receive half-price admission for up to four people at an array of premier museums and attractions throughout the region.
The program entices visitors to check out the numerous not-to-be-missed exhibits in February, including Anila Quayyum Agha: Geometry of Light at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, focused on the play of light and geometric shadows; Woven in Wool: Resilience in Coast Salish Weaving at the Burke Museum, showcasing both historical and contemporary woven items; and New Nordic: Cuisine, Aesthetics and Place at the National Nordic Museum, exploring how a new Nordic food movement has sparked interest in local ingredients and natural materials across borders and artistic disciplines. Visitors who haven’t been downtown in a while will also want to check out the Seattle Aquarium’s new Ocean Pavilion, featuring immersive exhibits on Indo-Pacific marine biodiversity, as well as the newly opened Waterfront Park.
“Seattle Museum Month celebrates museums as vibrant gathering places across our city, and SAM is proud to be part of that experience,” said Kat Bryant Flaherty, Director of Marketing and Communications at SAM. “Across all three locations, from the Seattle Art Museum downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum in Volunteer Park, and the Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront, SAM brings together art, performances, family programs, and community events year-round. In February, visitors can experience new exhibitions like A Room for Animal Intelligence and Samantha Yun Wall: What We Leave Behind, alongside ongoing programs such as Saturdays at SAM and a full calendar of activities for all ages.”
Seattle Museum Month also makes for an especially budget-friendly rediscovery for locals of the world-class art and history in their own backyards. And, with the addition of the recently launched Perks Pass, locals can save even more with 40+ discounts and special offers at downtown restaurants, bars, arts organizations, spas, and attractions. Both the Perks Pass and itinerary ideas are available at FindMoretoSEA.org.
“Seattle Museum Month is one of our favorite programs of the year because it celebrates what the Kimpton Palladian has always stood for: deep roots in local culture, creativity, and discovery,” said Michael Walzl, GM of the Kimpton Palladian Hotel. “We continue to add to our investment in this mission with the addition of Arthouse, our new event space housed in the building’s former glassblowing gallery. February is our city’s “cozy” season, and there’s no better time to lean into the moody charm of Seattle’s museums, galleries, and neighborhoods. We love welcoming guests who want a true staycation and a chance to experience the best of Seattle right outside our doors.”
