These sales opportunities are available for Visit Seattle members in 2025:

South Korea & Japan Sales Mission | April 15-19 | $3000
In partnership with State of Washington Tourism, Visit Seattle will lead a sales mission to Japan and South Korea, engaging two of Seattle’s top overseas inbound markets. Partners will meet with key tour operators, travel agents, media and airline representatives in hosted travel trade seminars, sales calls and VIP networking events.  This will provide the unique opportunity to connect with, and build, connections between our destination and top travel providers.

IPW 2025 | Chicago, IL | June 14-18 | $3000
With an estimate of 5,000 industry professionals in attendance, U.S. Travel Association’s IPW is the travel industry’s premier international marketplace and the largest generator of travel to the United States. In three days of intensive pre-scheduled business appointments, Visit Seattle will meet with key international travel trade clients from all over the world to build and nurture key relationships.

Canada Sales Mission | Q3 2025 | $2500
Visit Seattle will lead a sales mission across Canada, Seattle’s top international market. Traveling with Visit Seattle members, the delegation will meet with tour operators and travel agents who promote year-round travel to Seattle. This mission will include calls to British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, and Ontario.

Go West Summit | Palm Springs, CA | January 6-9
Go West Summit is an annual travel trade event in North America that focuses on promoting and facilitating tourism in the western part of the United States. The Summit typically brings together travel industry professionals, including tour operators, travel advisors, and destination representatives, to engage in networking, one-on-one appointments, and educational sessions. Visit Seattle will participate in 1:1 appointments and networking events to promote and drive visitation to the destination as well as share updates on what’s new in Seattle.

Brand USA Mexico Sales Mission | Monterrey, Mexico City, Guadalajara | January 12-17
Visit Seattle is consistently looking to expand awareness of the destination in Mexico, which drives visitation from this market. This sales mission includes visits to Monterrey, Mexico City and Guadalajara and will include 1:1-appointments with leading travel trade and media, as well as in-person destination training for travel agents. Developing and strengthening face-to-face business relationships with key partners in-market is a great way to continue to grow and nurture strong inbound visitation from what is the USA’s second largest source market of international travelers.

Brand USA India Sales Mission | India | January 19-25
Visit Seattle is excited to participate in the 2025 Brand USA India Sales and Media Mission—an exclusive platform that enables U.S. partners to forge valuable connections with key players in the Indian travel trade and media landscape. Visit Seattle’s participation in this event will cultivate relationships between Seattle and India’s thriving travel market through meaningful 1:1 appointments with key travel trade and media.

IITA Summit | Salt Lake City, UT | February 9-12
The International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) is involved in a wide range of industry activities, working with suppliers, DMOs, industry organizations, and regulatory agencies to improve the quality of travel related services for visitors to the US. IITA’s mission is to grow inbound travel to the USA by providing the best and widest range of products, services, and information to the international travel trade. The Summit also provides a variety of educational sessions on topics that are impacting the industry. Visit Seattle will conduct 1:1 appointments to provide an update on Seattle and discuss potential 2025 partnerships.

VUSA Expo Australia | Australia & New Zealand | February 10-21
Visit Seattle will travel Down Under for Visit USA and Brand USA’s Australia/New Zealand Expo Week. The two-week program includes trade expos in Sydney (AU), Melbourne (AU), Brisbane (AU), Auckland (NZ), Wellington (NZ); as well as 1:1 appointments with top travel trade and travel media. The three events will reach key travel trade professionals and will allow exhibitors to educate travel agents, wholesale reservations, sales staff, product buyers, and media representatives. In addition, Visit Seattle will attend the Visit USA Networking event and the Brand USA B2B day, which consist of a full day of meetings with Australia’s most prominent wholesalers, tour operators and media companies to discuss potential collaborations.

European Sales Mission | March 16-28
Visit Seattle and the State of Washington Tourism will embark on a European Sales Mission, visiting top inbound markets including France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany. Connecting with key European tour operators and media, the team will be hosting destination trainings, business meetings, and networking events. This mission will further Seattle’s relationships with European buyers and media, ultimately driving travel to the city and the region.

Brand USA Travel Week | London, UK | October 2025
Brand USA will once again host an exclusive series of B2B meetings trade and media meetings, educational opportunities and networking events in London, UK. The educational sessions are designed to provide U.S. destinations and their representatives in the United Kingdom and Europe the latest information on how Brand USA is working with the influential travel trade and media to increase international visitation to the United States. Visit Seattle will conduct 1:1 appoints with vetted trade and media from across the UK and Europe.

NTA Travel Exchange | Ottawa, ON | November 9-12
Travel Exchange brings together packaged travel professionals from all over North America and around the world. The National Tour Association’s annual conference features buyers of all types and specialties who meet with tour suppliers, DMOs, and tour directors and guides to build partnerships, collaborations, and inspired itineraries, creating opportunities for networking, business development, and industry education.

USTOA Annual Conference and Marketplace | National Harbor, MD | December 1-5
The USTOA Annual Conference & Marketplace has distinguished itself for being the only travel industry event in the United States that brings together the leading North American travel companies with tourism suppliers and destinations from around the globe in an intimate and exclusive setting. The conference presents a unique business casual atmosphere for a small select group of 700 travel professionals to make new contacts and conduct business, direct and unprecedented access to travel industry leaders and decision-makers, and highly informative speaker sessions and invaluable insight into the North American travel market. Visit Seattle will have multiple opportunities to engage these travel companies at networking events and in destination showcases.
