Seattle Bookmarked – Banned Edition | Ghost Boys

Season 2 | Episode 2

In this episode of Seattle Bookmarked: Banned Edition, actor Jeremy Rudd reads an excerpt from Ghost Boys by Seattle author Jewell Parker Rhodes. Ghost Boys has been banned in Florida, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. As a UNESCO City of Literature, Seattle embraces intellectual freedom and celebrates—rather than censors—diverse voices. In fact, the Seattle Public Library is one of only three libraries in the country to have opened up banned books to anyone.
