At the Burke Museum, kids can view dinosaur skeletons that date back millions of years and watch scientists working in biology labs through large windows.

Or take home an Education Fun Pack for more than 10 hours of hands-on discovery. Create new structures in the Kid-Struction Zone at the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI), where children ages 2 to 7 can play with foam bricks, magnets, felt, and other materials.

View the habitats of flamingos, snow leopards, sloth bears, and monkeys and learn about how these animals thrive during an informative animal keeper talk at Woodland Park Zoo.

Scurry up the 30-foot Climbing Tower, ride a human-powered carousel, hear music in a listening station, and navigate a giant labyrinth amid large installations in the Artists at Play Playground at Seattle Center.

Prepare delicious delights in a kids’ and teens’ culinary class—like Rockin’ Ramen or Baking Around the World—at FrogLegs Cooking School.

Explore the distant corners of the universe during a stargazing or space exploration show in the Willard Smith Planetarium at Pacific Science Center.

Get creative during a Friday-night Teen Art Studio at Gage Academy of Art, when teaching artists lead sessions on sculpting, printmaking, cartooning, visual storytelling, and more.
