SOMI (South of Mill)

SOMI (South of Mill)

Restaurants Pioneer Square

The inspiration for our name comes from the rich history that shaped this old brick neighborhood — the first one in Seattle.
Pioneer Square owes its existence to the lumber mill. Mill Street was the northern boundary and log shoot (skid row) to the water where they’d pack up the logs and ship them out. Later on, Mill Street was renamed Yesler Way, after a city founder.
SOMI is two blocks south of that historic log run.

We pride ourselves on serving damn fine food without pretension. Warm and nourishing entrees, hearty sandwiches, and shareable snacks perfect with a cocktail or beer. Join us for brunch on weekends and don’t miss our daily pop-up smash burger menu from 2-4PM. We might be biased, but they’re some of the best burgers in town.
SOMI is th
e perfect venue for your next gathering. With a seating capacity of up to 100 guests, our restaurant provides an inviting space for your next gathering or event.
