Attendee Experiences only Seattle can Offer

DON’T JUST MEET . . . MAKE!

Food, culture, nature, technology—everything connects in Seattle. This intersection of thoughts and ideas inspires collaboration and urges people to experience things in different ways. Our hands-on team-building opportunities follow that same Seattle spirit, encouraging participants to dive right in and see the world in a new light.

HOT STOVE SOCIETY

Foodies can throw down in a friendly kitchen challenge at Hot Stove Society, a cooking school run by local celebrity chef and James Beard Award winner Tom Douglas. Guided by Hot Stove’s chefs, participants plan, strategize, and work together to cook a family-style meal with plenty of snacks and drinks along the way. At the end, dishes are judged, and everyone can sit down to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

CHALLENGER LEARNING CENTER

Your team’s mission, should they choose to accept it: command a (simulated) space mission to study Mars. This two-hour program at the Challenger Learning Center in the Museum of Flight focuses on solid communication and problem-solving skills to effectively complete the mission. The technologyfocused surroundings, along with the museum’s impressive air- and spacecraft collection, make this perfect for an aviation- and tech-loving team.

SEATTLE MAKERS

This makerspace in Seattle’s bustling South Lake Union neighborhood strives to help groups bond by collaborating on a shared project. At Seattle Makers, gamers can build, program, and assemble their own Raspberry Pi Arcade machine, a tech-focused challenge that results in plenty of fun.

THE GO GAME

Help attendees let loose with a team-building activity that’s part cell phone–guided scavenger hunt, part urban race, and 100 percent fun. At The Go Game, each game is custom produced for your group and includes location-based puzzles to help them explore Seattle. Planted actors help move the storyline along as teams tackle head-to-head duels and creative challenges.

SEATTLE SAILING CLUB

Guests can enjoy the unparalleled beauty of the region up close—from the deck of a boat. Seattle Sailing Club race events begin with a brief sailing lesson, followed by some on-boat practice, and then a series of short races that will have your team members working together to cross the finish line.
