Seattle Gift Giving

The holidays are upon us, which means the gifting season is too. While receiving presents over the holidays is surely fun, there’s something extra special about giving. Maybe it’s in finding that perfect thing that reminds you of someone, taking the time to wrap it with care, seeing the joy on their face when they open it, or all of the above. For me, each part of the process holds a little bit of magic, including the shopping.

Below are just a few ideas of local gifts to spark your inspiration. I hope Seattle can be part of your own magic this year!

Cozy season calls for warm blankets. Created by artist David Robert Boxley (Tsimshian), the beautiful design on the blanket represents “the powerful and inextricable connection between humans and the world around us, and is a reminder of our responsibilities to care for it all.” 5% of all blanket sales support the Inspired Natives™ Award for emerging arts entrepreneurs.
